Switzerland features 2 main networks: the “Basic network” and the “Swiss Travel System”
The Basic network includes all major railway connections and boat companies to major cities and tourism areas plus different bonuses within Switzerland .
The Swiss Travel System network includes the basic railroads, urban transportation system, postal buses and the main mountain railways/ cable cars.
The France ‘N Switzerland Pass covers the BASIC NETWORK and provides passholders with special prices for the Glacier Express and the Gornergrat train (30% discount on the Glacier Express if the ticket is purchased at the same time as the France ‘N Switzerland Pass).

CONDITIONS OF USE
Residents of Europe , Russia , Turkey and North Africa ( Algeria , Morocco and Tunisia ) are not eligible to purchase or use a France ‘N Switzerland Pass.
Passes must be validated within 6 months of issuing date.
Passes must be validated prior to boarding first train or first use of a travel bonus.
7:00pm rule : if a direct overnight train departs after 7:00pm on a validated France ‘N Switzerland Pass, the passholder must enter the next day's date on the pass, provided it falls within the validity of the pass.
Reservation fees are an additional charge and not inclusive in the cost of the pass.
All passes are subject to a non-refundable Pass Issuance Fee of AUD10 per pass.
REFUNDS
France ‘N Switzerland Passes must be presented for refund unused and not validated.
A 30% cancellation fee plus AUD30 applies to totally unused passes returned within 1 year of issuing date.
France ‘N Switzerland Passes cannot be refunded or reissued if lost or stolen.
